Buy Your First Moral Time

Doctrine: Chapter 2 — Virtue Is Not a Vibe

The Claim

Moral time is the space between pressure and reaction — the room to choose rather than lunge. You buy it with boring things: meals on the shelf, cash in an envelope, a plan that lives outside your head. The first purchase of moral time is the most important one.

This Week's Action

Complete one action that addresses your weakest link from Week 2.

Choose the smallest concrete step that most immediately reduces panic.

Add seven dinners and seven breakfasts your family already eats — not survival food, real meals.

Or: assemble a basic first-aid kit and learn what's in it.

Or: put a specific amount of cash in an envelope and put it somewhere safe.

Or: get a safe indoor warming plan and test it.

One action. Finished by week's end. Mark it complete.

Reflection

How did it feel to move from "I should" to "I did"? What changed in my sense of readiness?
