The Stoic Audit

Doctrine: Chapter 2 — Virtue Is Not a Vibe

The Claim

You've built some margin. Now you need a practice that maintains it — and that keeps your character honest. The weekly Stoic audit is the single most important habit in this entire program. It takes ten minutes. It lasts a lifetime.

This Week's Action

Run your first weekly Stoic audit — and schedule it as a recurring appointment.

Set a day and time. Same slot each week.

Answer two questions in writing: What pressure would make me compromise this week? What have I done — or can I do — to remove it?

Pick the most plausible pressure, not the most dramatic. Name the likely compromise honestly.

Identify one concrete action that buys moral time against it.

Do the action. Mark it done. Repeat next week. This is now a permanent practice.

Reflection

What did I learn about myself from the gap between "what I believe" and "what I've built"?
